Event description

AXS (pronounced "access") is the artist development division of the Adams Davy Agency. AXS provides training, performance experiences and branding solutions for aspiring artists looking to gain “AXS” into the Arts & Entertainment industry.

Many of our clients have earned their place within the television, film, stage, music, theme park, cruise line, resort and casino industry.

If you are seriously considering your place within the arts & entertainment industry, we would love to work with you.

This AXS: Masterclass is a one day MUSICAL THEATRE event designed to improve your Mechanics, Dramatics, & Dynamics in an audition setting. Mechanics begins with vocal technique and is carried through to physicality on stage. Dramatics is your storytelling and energy on stage, leading to your believability. Dynamics is the result of Mechanics and Dramatics, and keeps the audience focused, captured, and invested in your performance.

Focus will be giving musical theatre actors the opportunity to bring their audition and performance skills to the next level and how to better connect to their audition/performance material.

Students will have their song material broken down with one-on-one coaching in a class setting. Finally students will also have the opportunity to be part of a Q&A with our instructor at the end of the class."

Masterclasses are open to students ages 10-22, and class size is typically limited to 18 participants per day to ensure that each student receives personal attention.

Tony Vincent grew up in Albuquerque, NM and signed a major record deal while just a sophomore in college. His theatre & Broadway resume includes "American Idiot," "Rent," "We Will Rock You" and "Jesus Christ Superstar," but the world (or 17 million of them anyway) saw Vincent compete every week on the second season of TV's "The Voice" in 2012.
