About this event

#AxiellNA22 takes place at the University of Chicago Oriental Institute this September 14-16 2022, with core sessions also streamed for online attendees.

  • Sept 14: Natural History Special Interest Group (open to collections management system users with an interest in natural history collections)
  • Sept 15: Axiell User Conference and Evening Reception (open to all Collections Management and CultureConnect users!)
  • Sept 16: Axiell User Conference (open to all Collections Management and CultureConnect users!)

Ticket Types

  • Collections Pass (Sept 15-16) For collections management users who work at a museum, gallery, archive, cultural heritage site or specialist library, or if your institution uses Adlib, Axiell Collections, EMu, or Mimsy.
  • CultureConnect Pass (Sept 15-16) For CultureConnect users.
  • Natural History SIG Pass (Sept 14) For our collections management system users with an interest in natural history collections. This will be a full day of programming building on the success of our monthly special interest group (SIG) meetings.
  • Online Pass (Sept 14-16) For users who want to join from home. More information on which sessions will be streamed coming soon.
  • Evening Reception (Sept 15) All in-person attendees are invited to a complimentary reception with snacks and beverages after sessions conclude on Sept 15. Unwind, network, and catch up with colleagues within the Oriental Institute’s beautiful galleries.

The Hybrid Format and Travel Guidance

This will be a hybrid event. Those who can’t join us in-person will still be able to catch key sessions online. A reminder that, wherever you are in the world, you are able attend any of our conferences online or in-person (where travel restrictions allow).

For those travelling to Chicago, stay tuned for more information regarding hotel options. Additionally, we will be following guidance around events closely to ensure everyone joining us in Chicago has a safe and comfortable experience at the conference.
