Scott duPont is a Crystal Reel Award winning actor & PGA (Producers Guild of America) producer with several narrative film projects in various stages of development including: ‘Ticket Trouble’, ‘Crimebusters’ and ‘WIN’. This year duPont will start post production on ‘I Talk to Strangers’ - a documentary shot in 2 dozen countries; begin filming the first 13 episodes of ‘There is NO Health Pill’ (a web series based upon the new book), and he most recently acquired the rights to Variety’s famous book ‘Film Makers and Financing’ (now it’s in 8th edition) and that new film will reveal the secrets independent film makers need to finance their own films. Scott enjoys meeting new talent in person at these seminar events, where he has hired 6 different actors for previous films.
Scott duPont (confirmed) is an award winning actor who has appeared in 50-plus films and over 100 commercials and television projects during the past 15+ years. He was State President of the Florida Motion Picture & Television Association; served on the Board of Film Florida, was past Chairman of the Florida Alliance of Media & Entertainment, as well as past President of the Florida Cast & Crew Association. Scott received the R. John Hugh Award for excellence and professionalism in the entertainment industry and was also awarded the "Up and Comers" Award by the Orlando Business Journal.
Around a dozen years ago Scott began commuting to Los Angeles in order to accept acting work and to conclude distribution deals for films he produced. To date, Scott duPont has produced twelve (12) feature length projects which have all gotten distribution and made money for the investors. Scott also owns a distribution company (www.NemoursMarketing.com) which released at least six (6) film projects in less than two years.
Scott loves to help educate fellow actors on how to market themselves and advance their careers. He actually produced “ACTING 101” and “The ABC’s of ACTING” which have been two of the most popular "Acting" DVDs in the country over the past few years. As a producer and a reader, Scott has been in the casting room with over 15,000 potential actors during his career.
