SECOND SATURDAY DIVORCE WORKSHOP - HONOLULU, HAWAII

Divorce can be a confusing and challenging process. 

If you are thinking about or are in the process of Divorce or Legal Separation,  you will want to attend this empowering workshop that is designed to help you take the next step... 

Our team of professional women will provide you with unbiased information and help you understand the legal, emotional, financial aspects of the divorce process & explore options available to save time, money, & grief.

The workshop is led by a Family Law Attorney, an Estate Planning Attorney/ Licensed Financial Professional,  a Licensed Therapist, and Real Estate Agent. We will provide you with the knowledge & resources that you need to - inform, prepare, protect - you & your family.

WORKSHOP PRESENTERS:

 Cassandra Bagay, Esq.

Cassandra was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and graduated from Iolani High School.  She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts. She then continued on to pursue her legal education, receiving her Juris Doctorate at the William S. Richardson School of Law (WSRSL) at the University of Hawaii.

During law school, Cassandra volunteered at Kapolei Family Court, working specifically with the Ho'olokahi Parent Facilitator Program.  She also volunteered for the State of Hawaii's Office on Equality and Access to the Courts, aiding in developing and maintaining the state's court interpreter program. Cassandra also was an active participant in WSRSL's Students for Public Outreach and Civic Education (SPOCE) and Law for Youth Empowerment (LYtE), serving on the board for both student-led initiatives during her time at the law school.  Both programs aimed at providing education about the legal process to youth in schools (SPOCE) and in correctional facilities (LYtE).  Lastly, Cassandra actively participated in the Filipino Law Students Association, also serving on the board of the organization for a couple years.  In addition to her extracurricular activities & volunteer work, Cassandra was the recipient of the Hartley & McGehee Family Law Excellence Scholarship for the 2013-14 academic year.

Cassandra Bagay is currently an associate at a private law firm, DOI/LUKE, AAL, LLLC.  She practices in family law, having experience primarily in cases involving divorce, custody, & child support.  Cassandra also devotes time to volunteering for Volunteer Legal Services Hawaii.

• Allana Wade Coffee, Ph.D., NCC, LMHC

Allana Wade Coffee, Ph.D., NCC, LMHC, is a Educational Psychologist, National Certified Counselor, and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.

Dr. Coffee is in private practice serving adolescents, adults,  couples, and parents.  Dr. Coffee has worked as a clinical therapist at Kaiser Behavior Health and has been a licensed mental health counselor since 2005.

In 1974, Dr. Coffee moved to Hawaii when she was 9 years old.  After attending Ewa Beach Elementary, Waianae Intermediate and Radford High School, Dr. Coffee graduated from the University of Hawaii with a bachelors degree in psychology and a doctorate in educational psychology.

Dr. Coffee has written curricula and provided professional training for domestic violence treatment.  She co-authored and published an article on the effects of domestic violence on children with her husband Jerry Coffee, Jr.  In 2005, Dr. Coffee published a manual for teaching anger-management and communication skills in the elementary school classroom.

Dr. Coffee’s experiences both as a student, a teacher and consultant in the Hawaii State Department of Education system make her especially sensitive to the unique experiences faced by parents, teachers and students alike.  Dr. Coffee’s personal and professional experiences contribute to her ability to provide relevant and useful support.

Dr. Coffee has worked in the community providing individual and family therapy, community workshops and education trainings.  She has also taught psychology at Chaminade University, University of Hawaii, Kapiolani Community College and the Academy of the Pacific. 

• Trisha C White, Esq., CDFA

Trisha C White is a Financial Consultant and Estate Planning Attorney with Jeff White, Retirement-Coach, LPL Financial.  She holds the Series 7 and Series 66 licenses.   Trisha is also a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA) and is trained to help analyze the financial outcomes of divorce.  She graduated from the University of Hawai'i William S. Richardson School of Law and also completed a course in negotiation at UC Hastings College of Law. 

Trisha is currently a member of the Hawai'i Filipino Lawyers Association, the Hawai'i Estate Planning Council and Hawai'i Women Lawyers.  

• Brenda Molina, Realtor-Associate, iProperties Hawai'i

Brenda has lived on Oahu since 1996 and has been a realtor associate with iProperties Hawaii since 2011.  She has a doctorate degree in Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and enjoys working with first-time homebuyers, investors, and people who want to downsize or upgrade to a new home.  Brenda strives for excellence.  Her goal is to consistently exceed client expectations while forming meaningful relationships that will last a lifetime.
