Event Information
About this Event
Families, join us Wednesday, Februray 3rd at 6:30 pm for our Family Awana Kick Off event as we begin the Awana semester with music, crafts, skits and a gospel lesson. CDC guidelines will be followed and each famiy will have their own designated area.
Here is some key information regarding this semester of Awana:
This semester will be a combination of monthly in-person family events and weekly virtual interactive lessons.
There will be a monthly Awana Family Night from February to May that includes skits, games, prizes and more! During the week you can tune in for brief (3-5 min.) virtual lessons on our Facebook page (click here) , activities and memory work as kids ages 3 years old - 5th grade work to earn prizes. Remember that monthly Family Nights are for the whole family! Please feel free to bring younger/older siblings/friends of Awana kids. Families will work together to learn more aout the good news of the gospel and become equipped to live gospel-filled lives individually, in community, and on mission.
We can't wait to dive into the story that God has been telling from the very beginning, the story that saturates every page of Scripture and ties Scripture together - a story of hope. It’s a story that makes sense of the problems of the world, and tell us that the solution to them isn’t us. The solution is the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We pray God uses this Awana semester to grow our hearts and families to know the Lord more.
WHO: The whole family! However, children 3 years old -5th grade will be eligible to complete activities to earn prizes each month.
