Description

This class will take place in the bench nook that is left of the kiosk in Block 3 of the park, between 35th and 36th Street.

Trevor Swaine (ig: @encouragedmind) will be discussing how to use meditation as a tool for self-discovery, stress reduction and an optimized lifestyle. Additionally, he will be looking at how meditation benefits the brain and how to establish an effective and sustainable practice. Finally, discussing how to apply these insights into day to day life.

Trevor has been helping the people of New York City maximize their level of performance for over 10 years. He established a name for himself in the fitness industry by unlocking the potential of professional athletes. By taking their training to the next level he discovered that the biggest and most sustainable results came when a fundamental shift in mindset and self-awareness was reached. With this in mind, he set out to better understand how to cultivate and apply the power of mindfulness in everyday life. He focused his studies of meditation at the Shambhala Center and Interdependence Project of New York City and created his own system of meditation and education to unlock the greatness in anyone.
