When I started dating after my divorce, my friends convinced me to try online dating. It was an absolutle disaster. I was attracting people that I had nothing in common with. People I had chatted with on the phone turned out to be totally different when we met in person. I very soon gave up the online dating scene.
But I was still lonely and still not finding anyone online. So I thought I would try it again. This time, I took an eyes wide open approach and I did a bit of research. What I found was that people were going into online dating, like I did, without any preparation. What kind of preparation you might ask? Well, we connect with people with values like our own. People had never given any thought to the benefit of a "values assessment' prior to putting their profile online. Secondly, the profile is the hook - it's only purpose is to get a first meeting. Finally, people were reporting making the same kinds of mistakes to their approach to dating. After finishing my research I designed a program that combined common sense and fun to teach adults to trust the system but to develop a strategy that would work.
During this fun and interactive workshop you will:
- do an assessment to determine your top 5 values.
- learn to write a winning profile.
- learn the top mistakes that people make in the online dating world.
Bonus includes: A free webinar that will be offered on Nov 13th as a follow up to this workshop.
