Event description

Description

Join Dr. Rothenberg for a fascinating exploration of the new science of brain health, and how Transcendental Meditation allows us to access latent reserves of brain power to improve memory, mental acuity, and cognitive performance.

Learn how an exciting new collaboration including the TM technique and the Bredesen Protocol is offering real hope for averting and even reversing cognitive decline associated with dementia.*

Dr. Rothenberg will discuss:

  • Research and clinical experience with the Bredesen Protocol in preventing and treating Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia*
  • Transcending as key to brain health and longevity
  • Practical tips for brain health

The meeting is open to everyone. Healthcare professionals are especially encouraged to attend. The event is free of charge and you are welcome to bring non-meditating family, friends and colleagues.

“No other stress management technique has anywhere close to this amount of hard data in support of its claims to reduce stress.”

—Norman Rosenthal, M.D., Clinical Professor of Psychiatry, Georgetown University Medical School.

“Transcendental meditation is a simple, natural technique... This form of meditation allows your body to settle into a state of profound rest and relaxation and your mind to achieve a state of inner peace, without needing to use concentration or effort.”
—Mayo Clinic

*Research on the Bredesen Protocol is in its preliminary stages. While not yet proven, the initial resutls using the Protocol to prevent and reverse cognitive decline–as reported in Dr. Bredesen's bestselling book, "The End of Alzheimer's"–have been promising. Individual results may vary.

A large scale observational study on the effectiveness of the integrated TM + Bredesen Protocal is currently being launched, with planned participation for several thousand individuals from across the country. This study will be the first to provide data on the potential effects of TM on Alzhelmer's.
