Event description

Description

Calling all Javascript grads! Are you looking to network with employers who have a strong sense of culture, while also advancing your own skills in key aspects of the software development lifecycle? Then you should consider joining us on Thursday, August 17 from 3:00-6:00pm at Code Fellows for our first "Avalara Bug Bash." Avalara is a Seattle-based company working to automate sales tax for everyday businesses and having a lot of fun along the way. Through this workshop, you will learn about best practices in user testing and bug writing, while also having the chance to apply these key insights to testing the Avatax Update software. Food and drink will be provided, and Code Fellows alumni and Avalara Engineers will be on hand to guide you through this workshop, while also being prepared to answer questions you have about life as a dev at Avalara.

*Space is limited, so the first 30 alumni who register will get priority for this event.

Note: All proceeds will go towards the Diversity Scholarship Fund.
