Event description
Presenter: Christoph Hinzen, PhD, Application Specialist, Cell Separation, MiltenyiBiotec

About this Event

Abstract:

A deep understanding of the interactions and phenotypes of immune and tumour cells within the tumour microenvironment is key to developing future immune-based cancer therapy strategies. In recent years, impressive progress has been made towards developing effective methods for separation and isolation of viable cells from tissues and tumors, essential for use in any in vitro assays.

Join us at BioLab, OICR, for a free educational seminar on the Miltenyi Biotec's recently developed automated and Ficoll-free solutions for primary immune cell and PBMC isolation from various starting materials to ensure the the best fit for every drug discovery program.

Learning Objectives:

• Understand the benefits of automation in cell separation

• Get to know new technologies for more efficient cell processing
