Event description
Learn how to deliver an effective security awareness training programme and see returns

About this Event

With a staggering 91% of data breaches starting with a phishing attack and 30% caused by employees it’s clear to see that people are the weak link in many New Zealand businesses’s security.

As attackers focus less on infrastructure and more on people, business owners and security professionals need to train employees and help them stay on top of the game with cyber security threats that may impact them both at work and in their personal life.

This presentation intends to demonstrate and discuss:

  • How to gain visibility of how vulnerable to phishing attacks users are
  • How to deliver an effective security awareness training programme and see returns
  • How to enable employees to make smarter security decisions with automated security training and simulated phishing attacks.
  • How to identify and respond to reported email threats faster

Networking and snacks from 12 midday, presentation begins at 12.30pm

Speaker:

Ray Dussan Cabrera has over 9 years UK security experience leading security teams and helping organisations manage their digital security risk and protect their data. Ray moved to New Zealand to build the security practice for an MSP where he was responsible for the security of more than 350 SMBs and taking new security services to market. Ray is now the co-founder of a security business that specialises in providing information security and compliance consulting services.
