Elizabeth Berg & Jacquelyn Mitchard
A unique double bill of Midwest-based bestselling authors Elizabeth Berg and Jacquelyn Mitchard. This past spring saw the release of Berg’s "Once Upon a Time, There Was You" (Random House), a novel about unconditional love, the unshakeable bonds of family, and the wonder of second chances. Berg, a Chicago native, is the author of many bestselling novels, as well as two collections of short stories and two works of nonfiction. "Open House" was an Oprah’s Book Club selection; "Durable Goods" and "Joy School" were selected as ALA Best Books of the Year; and "Talk Before Sleep" was short-listed for an ABBY Award.
Mitchard, who hails from Wisconsin, is the New York Times bestselling author of "The Deep End of the Ocean," "No Time to Wave Goodbye," and fifteen other books for adults and children. A former syndicated columnist, she is a contributing editor for Parade magazine and the founder of the artist's residence, One Writer's Place.
