Author Talk & Signing: The Science of Great BBQ & Grilling With Meathead

Attend a very special author talk and book signing with Meathead Goldwyn, the author of "Meathead, The Science of Great Barbecue and Grilling" and editor of the internet's largest and most popular cooking website, AmazingRibs.com.
He will have you slapping your forehead with his talk “Old Husbands’ Tales: BBQ & Grilling Myths That Need To Die.” His book busts scores of myths and he’ll talk about as many as time permits such as: Why you shouldn’t soak wood chips, why beer can chicken is a waste of good beer, why you don’t want grill marks, why searing doesn’t seal in juices, why charcoal briquettes are better than lump, that red juices are not blood, and many more including the single tip that will improve your cooking overnight.
The event will be supported by Q-BBQ Lakeview located at 714 W Diversey, Chicago, who will be providing free samples of sliders and coupons. Registration for the event only is free and $34.73 to attend the event and a copy of the book (10% discount + sales tax). The book will also be available for sale on the day of the event at full price.
