Event description

Description

For two years acclaimed chef and restaurateur Edward Lee traveled across the country to explore the cultural history and growing trends behind American cuisine. Lee shares his stories and findings in his book Buttermilk Graffiti, recounting for readers the personal ties that binds cooks, restaurant owners, and other foodies to the specialized cuisine of their region. From the Texas coast where he learned about the experiences of Vietnamese fisherman to the influence of Lebanese food in Mississippi, Lee celebrates the range of diversity and cooking traditions upheld from coast-to-coast, from towns off-the-beaten-path to the Big Apple.

Join us as we welcome Edward Lee to our store, where he will talk about his travels and the process of creating this wonderful book!

You can purchase a talk-only ticket for $30 or a talk and book ticket combo for $49.26 (18% Savings). Additional copies of the book can also be pre-purchased for $24.26 (20% discount + sales tax); it will also be available for sale on the day of the event at full price.
