Event description

Description

As the world becomes subject to increased globalization, mastering the art of how to ask the right question at the right time is invaluable when attempting to learn about different cultures and customs. Skillful questioning also offers a heightened opportunity to innovate and excel on an international platform to address global issues. In a technological age of instant responses, the benefit of asking good questions whilst listening and observing is immeasurable. Questions are the simplest yet most effective tool for learning and feature as the cornerstone in every field of life, professional or personal.

Join the World Affairs Council-Washington, DC as we welcome Frank Sesno to our Author Series event.

In Mr. Sesno’s new book, Ask More: The Power of Questions, he shares his insight on how questions have the potential to not only be useful when learning but also when attempting to open doors, uncover solutions and spark change, whether at home or abroad.

Frank Sesno is an Emmy winning journalist, creator of PlanetForward.org and director of the School of Media and Public Affairs at The George Washington University.
