ADL presents Frank Meeink who will give an inspirational presentation to miccdle and high school students from Oakland County School districts. In addition to hearing about Meeink’s journey, the first 200 students to register will receive 2 complimentary tickets to the March 26th Pistons vs.Minnesotal Timberwolves at the Palace. The tickets will be distributed at the event.
Experience the raw story of Frank's descent into America's neo-Naxi underground, and his ultimate triumph over hatred and addiction. Meeink became a skinhead by age 13. By 18 he was roaming the country as a SkinHead leader and Neo-Nazi recruiter, and soon after he was in prison for kidnapping and beating a member of a rival skinhead gang. It was there that he met men of differnt races and he began a metamorphosis.
Today, Frank's life stands for tolerance, diversity and mutual understanding in racial, political and all aspects of society. Frank is truly an inspiration in any time of strife and conflict.
