The Path To Publishing "Act Like an Author, Think Like a Business" 2019 Conference welcomes author and Hollywood producer, Rocky Lang, and film historian, Barbara Hall, as they discuss their book, Letters from Hollywood (Publication date 9/10/19 by ABRAMS Books).

Rocky Lang has produced, written, and directed motion pictures, documentaries, television shows, movies-of-the-week and mini-series. He executive produced Girl Fight for Lifetime Television and Racing For Time starring Charles Dutton, which received a Best Picture nomination for the Image Awards. One of Rocky’s most notable credits is producing Ridley Scott’s movie, White Squall, starring Jeff Bridges. Rocky grew up Hollywood, as his father is Jennings Lang, a long time MCA exec and the producer of Earthquake, the Airport movies, and thirty other films.

Barbara Hall is an archivist that worked on Letters from Hollywood for the past three years prior to its release. The book chronicles the history of Hollywood through letter writing; from the silent era to the mid-1970s.
