Event description

Description

Social media has changed the marketing game. For companies, social media morphed into "social marketing" and the defacto way to generate buzz, find new audiences and open up two-way communication. Join our expert panel for a discussion about how to use social media as a marketing tool on Wednesday, February 21 at 8:30 am. Come early and enjoy a light breakfast and opportunities for networking. Doors open at 8 a.m.

Location: Governor's Office of Economic Development, 60 E. South Temple, Third Floor, Salt Lake City. (Park in City Creek Mall parking, validation provided if needed.)

Panelists: Brandon Ott, Director of Content at Ski Utah; Dave Hugar, VP of ECommerce at American Outdoor Brands Corp (Smith and Wesson); and Kirk Ouimet, Creative Camera/Product Engineering at Snap, Inc. (Snapchat) and founder of Scan, Inc.

The Office of Outdoor Recreation is very pleased to announce a new partnership with Snowsports Industries America (SIA) and the Economic Development Corporation of Utah (EDCUtah) to launch the SUMMIT SPEAKER SERIES. This speaker series will continue to dive into outdoor industry issues through education and insider access to industry experts. (The next events in the series will be held on April 6 and June 13.)
