Authentic Relating Dorset events are a fun and unique way to experience a deeper connection with yourself and others.
From meditative depths of presence to ecstatic heights of joy, to somber melancholy and heart-pounding fun, our Authentic Relating Games Nights aim to guide an experience that go outside the norms of our societal human condition and into connection to create a stronger and thriving community.
During an AR Games Night you will be guided on an interpersonal experience. Using safe, powerful, and interactive games/exercises inviting you to explore (perhaps a rare) depth of connection.
There is an awareness and sensitivity in having full permission for our individual boundaries and experiences. This is because we encourage all to take part only in what feels good too, as any "No's" and "Yes's" are equally encouraged. During and by the end of each game played, even though you may have just met the other participants, you may feel like you know them better then some of your closest peers, friends & family. Many people express entering a room full of strangers and leaving feeling like lifelong friends.
We can host up to 30 people for this event and to ensure that all spaces are utilised we ask that you pre-book your space, that way we have a much better idea as to how many people will be coming.
Tickets on a sliding scale donation basis depending on what you are able to give. We want to ensure that all events are as accessible as possible for all so if money is an issue for you do get in touch.
To note: This is a fun and light space though it is likely you will also go to greater depths within yourself as some of the games/exercises are designed to evoke a deeper sense of understanding of yourself and your experience/relation to others.
We very much want to create a "safe and brave" space where all aspects of you are welcome. This is of course within reason though as any abusive and threatening behaviours will not be tolerated.
TIMES:
Arrival 7pm - 7:15pm
Social Gathering from 7pm until 7:30pm (drinks available to purchase from the Café)
Games Session begins between 7:30pm & 7:40pm
Games session finishes 10pm
TO BRING:
• Water bottle
• We recommend wearing simple comfy clothes
FYI:
• There will be friendly cats in the session at times.
• On arrival you will need to go through the 'Pause Cat Cafe' safety sign in which takes 1-2 minutes
