Amy Meyer from Aussie Recruit and Jason Stoch from UpTrend Advisory are teaming up to bring you a session all about Australian taxes for Australians in the U.S. or thinking of moving to the U.S.

Amy will ask Jason your burning questions about Australian tax requirements as an Aussie living in the U.S. to help you gain a general understanding. Jason is a fellow Aussie based in San Diego, and an expert on Australian and U.S. taxes.

Jason moved to the U.S. from Sydney in 2013 and spent over 3 years living in New York City. Jason quickly realized that the majority of his Australian friends and colleagues did not understand the U.S. tax system nor how it interlinked with the Australian tax system.

As an American CPA and Australian Chartered Accountant, he began helping them traverse the landscape. Soon, Australians across the U.S. were contacting him asking for help, which eventually led to establishing UpTrend Advisory. Jason now resides in sunny San Diego with his wife, Lauren, and goldendoodle, Kubo.
