Join the Austin Youth Poet Laureate and the finalists for a reading at the Carver branch of Austin Public Library.
About this event
The Austin Youth Poet Laureate and the finalists invite you to join them at a reading at the Carver branch of Austin Public Library. The youth poets will each read an original poem in celebration of Memorial Day. Each poet will read an original poem that they have created, exploring not only Memorial Day, but also themes of identity, homelands, and memory. This reading is free and open for all, regardless of age or experience in poetry.
The Carver branch of Austin Public Library is located on1161 Angelina Street in Austin, Texas. Parking is available onsite for anyone who will attend.
