Austin Design Week 2017 Presents: Human Centered Design for Impact

The Global Goals Jam will combine the Sustainable Development Goals, Design Thinking and Lean Methodology to clash ideas to bring forth rapid prototypes that can help address some of our world biggest issues.

In this workshop, you'll learn how to:

  • do user discovery
  • rapid prototype
  • asses findings and pivot
  • identify insights hidden in plain sight
  • iterate and refine prototype
  • identify potential markets
  • integrate and test those markets
  • build a team around prototype
  • scale the product


Facilitator: Ruben Cantu

An international public speaker, trainer, marketing strategist and serial social entrepreneur and award-winning filmmaker focused on creating impactful movements that make the world a better place. A community servant and a global citizen focused on using the power storytelling and technology to be a bridge for peace.
