January ACUG Monthly Meeting - Bad Juju

Come join us for the next Austin Cloud User Group meeting.  If you are interested in cloud computing, and somewhat close to Austin, this is the group for you!  All are welcome. The ACUG January meeting will be Tuesday, January 17, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pervasive Software.

6:00-6:10 Mix and mingle and food/drink from our sponsor, Canonical!

6:10-6:15 Group business and “what's new in the cloud” group discussion

6:15-6:30 A couple folks wanted to do their lightning demos they couldn't do at the Twelve Clouds of Christmas.

6:30-8:00 Canonical presentation on Ubuntu Juju, their model driven automation project for Ubuntu.

Join us on Tuesday, January 17th for pizza and drinks as Canonical, the service provider and leader of the Ubuntu project, present Ubuntu Cloud (e.g. Openstack, Ubuntu Precise Pangolin 12.04 LTS) as well as discuss cloud solutions such as Orchestra for scalable and automatable network installations and Juju for shareable, re-usable, and repeatable expressions of DevOps best practices.
