Aurora Sportsmen's Club will be hosting their 3 Gun Train-Up Day on April 7, 2018. Members of the ASC 3-Gun Group will be training on some of the basic and more advanced techniques of competitive 3-Gun shooting. This clinic is intended to assist Mid-level Competitors looking to improve their game to the next level. If you have been shooting some 3 Gun matches and are looking to improve your game, we will be setting up a run around stage designed to keep you moving and shooting. This will be a hands on clinic to help you with some of the fundamentals of 3 gun as well as help with the efficiency of your stage planning.
Beginner 3-Gun shooters are welcome as well. Be sure to bring your 3-Gun setup (pistol, rifle, and shotgun) and competition belt to the clinic. You will also need a holster and magazine/shot shell holders as part of your gear, Also bring a sling for your Rifle and Shotgun if you have one. A minimum of 200-500 rounds will be required for each firearm, depending on how many times we are able to run you through the course of fire. Be prepared to put a lot of rounds down range. We will be running the stage multiple times with minor changes along the way and recording your times. The Clinic will be on the east side ranges Bay 2 & 3 and will begin at 8:00 a.m. and tear down cleanup at 4:00PM.
If you sign up for this clinic, you will be required to help setup and tear down the stage we will be training on. Meet at the Main Barn @ 7:00 AM, we should be setup and gearing up to shoot by 8:00AM. Bring your own lunch and water, we will not be stopping for lunch.
