Event description
Join us for a Vital Conversation with Leaders from the Ensemble Theater for "Indomitable Spirit: The Strength of Artistic Expression"

About this event

The Ensemble Theatre was founded in 1976 by the late George Hawkins to preserve African American artistic expression and enlighten, entertain and enrich a diverse community. Decades later, the theatre has evolved from a touring company operating from the trunk of Mr. Hawkins’ car to being one of Houston’s finest historical cultural institutions.

Join us for our vital conversation with Eileen Morris and Rachel Hill Dickson from the Ensemble Theater as we discuss the role the arts play in social change and shaping our community.

IMGH is grateful to CITGO Petroleum as our Series Sponsor for our 2021 Vital Conversations.
