Join The Helpers Circle's new monthly group supervision! We're creating a space to provide support, resources, and understanding.

About this event

The Helpers Circle is an emerging community founded by Tara Hughee, LMHC encouraging wellness, wholeness, and growth for Christian women in the mental health field. We are excited for our second monthly virtual group supervision. This is a space for licensed therapists, counselors (ex: LMHC, MHC-LP, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT), and graduate level clinical interns.

Together we'll provide support, resources, and understanding to one another as we tackle clinical questions and challenges. We'll also have time to get to know one another through icebreakers and networking.

Quick Q&A

What can we expect at the Circle Supervision?

During our time we'll meet and greet one another through an icebreaker; engage in discussions on clinical questions and personal challenges within our work; and provide a space for resource sharing.

What will attendees gain from this time?

  • An opportunity to meet & greet with other licensed mental health professionals
  • Insight and exploration of clinical questions in a group setting
  • Shared resources both from The Helpers Circle and other attendees
  • Empathy and understanding in your experience as a Christian woman- serving not only as a helper in your personal life, but in your work as well.
  • An opportunity to gain and give support through networking.
  • A resource guide following our supervisions providing an overview of what was explored and what tools and tips were shared.

Would this count toward my clinical hours?

Circle Supervision would not count toward your clinical hours, however we hope this space serves as an additional resource to your individual supervision.

Do I have to be a Christian to join?

Not at all! Just be mindful that as a community for Christian women, we do incorporate aspects of our faith. Examples of this include starting our gatherings with prayer and/or discussing rest not only as a self-care practice, but God's example of sabbath.

I'm an intern. Can I attend?

Yes, graduate-level clinical interns are welcome to join us and contribute to the space.

Will refunds be issued?

There will be no refunds issued for Circle Supervision.
