Jadine Urasaki, P.E., LEED AP, is responsible for overseeing the Capital Improvement Program and Operation and Special Maintenance Programs as Deputy Director for the Department of Transportation. This includes Harbors, Highways, and Airport Divisions. She also directly manages the administrative office of the State Transportation Planning Office and Planning, Programming and Budgeting Office as well as all engineering functions of the Department.

The State Department of Transportation, another one of Hawaii’s public sectors, will be discussing the pros and cons of Design-Build. This presentation will be informative to contractors, but also to owners who are still trying to decide how to properly select a Design-Builder.
