Semper Reformanda – Mark Sedio

One of the great accomplishments of the Reformation was to put the song of the Gospel as well as liturgical music back in the mouths of the people. Along with this development, people needed songs to sing – the virtual explosion of hymnody – another great feature of the Reformation. But it doesn’t stop there. The Reformation continues as we experience the dissemination of new worship materials by means of the internet (much like the printing press of the 16th century) and the publication of hymns, songs, spiritual songs from all over the world. The workshop focuses on ways to use (and adapt) these new materials in your own congregational setting.

The With One Voice Effect – David Cherwien

An important lesson was learned at the introduction of With One Voice and other hymnal supplements in the 90's. what is the key to helping our people accept new music? Especially now when so many new things are so easily available? What helps our congregations sing better in that process?
