Assessment and Treatment of Auditory
Processing / Receptive Language Disorders
This workshop will provide an overview of the assessment and intervention for children with
auditory processing disorders. The morning will review the nature of an auditory processing disorder and a comprehensive audiological assessment. The afternoon will build on that information addressing three types of intervention: environmental, compensation, and direct
remediation. The commonalities between APD and receptive language disorders will be addressed.
