Audiowolf Performs for the World
Event Information
Description
The City of Atlanta Mayor's Office of International Affairs partners with Atlanta-based teen jazz fusion band, Audio Wolf, to bring this concert to Atlanta's 17 sister cities. The live performance will be powered by Atlanta's Office of Cultural Affairs for the Atlanta Jazz Festival's 31 Days of Jazz.
In a time where there are few stories told about strong, positive teenagers making the world a better place, HERE IS ONE!
Seven teenagers met through the Atlanta-based non-profit organization, Sound Education Experience (SEE) and formed the jazz fusion band, Audio Wolf. Since its inception in 2013, several of those young musicians have graduated and moved on to college music scholarships. Over the years, they have been replaced by this second generation of Audio Wolf.
Audio Wolf has shared the stage with Howard Hewitt, Vivian Green, Chante Moore, Robert Glasper, Rhonda Thomas, and many more. They have performed at the Dominican Republic Jazz Festival, Streets Alive Festival, Dogwood Festival, Sweet Auburn Music Festival, Xavier University Alumni Dinner, and the John Lewis and Xernona Clayton Benefit. They have been invited to perform in the Havana International Jazz Festival in January of 2019, the Global Chef Society and will perform for Atlanta’s 17 sister cities in a concert powered by Atlanta’s International Affairs Office as part of the Atlanta Jazz Festival / 31 Days of Jazz in May of 2018.
