Event description
Join us for a networking event and panel discussion about getting plugged into what’s hot in audio marketing for 2020.

About this Event

To be seen you, you must be heard. With the expansion of audio technology, consumers experience brands through more than just catchy jingles and high-priced music licensing. Life is given to brands via sonic branding, podcasts, voice applications, environmental design, and other elements that give sound and personas to once non breathing entities. Of course, audio also brings its own marketing nuances and challenges – including accessibility.

Join us in getting plugged into what’s hot in audio marketing for 2020. Our panel of experts will tackle the latest trends and opportunities in audio, while offering actionable advice to help you expand your marketing in new ways.

MODERATOR

Jeff Ayers, Fueled by Death Cast

Jeff Ayers started podcasting for a pop culture and comic book website in 2015 and was also learning interview skills writing for New York State Music. Around 2016, Jeff started consulting for Death Wish Coffee to help them break into the comic book industry and helped them create their comic book Odinforce and also become the official coffee of New York Comic Con. In the winter of 2017, Jeff decided to leave the pop culture podcast behind and was offered the opportunity to create a podcast for Death Wish Coffee. In 2018 Jeff was hired full time at the company to continue his work on Fueled By Death Cast as well as create entertaining audio and video content for the company. Now, Fueled By Death Cast is available everywhere the podcast is found including iTunes, Spotify, I Heart Radio and in full video and video clips on Youtube. A weekly show featuring a special guest talking about their life and career has spawned over 130 episodes, along with a weekly mini podcast centered around up to date advances in science and space exploration, and a weekly hour-long live TV show on the company's Facebook Live. Jeff writes, produces, and hosts the podcast and cultivates the relationships with the guests which have led to some incredible opportunities, like for example, he interviewed retired astronaut Nicole Stott which led to her helping to get Death Wish Coffee to the International Space Station. The theme of the podcast is simple: We are all fueled by death - this idea that we want to leave this world a little different before we inevitably leave it for good.
