Event description

Description

The audiobook industry is exploding. Everyone is listening to content on phones, in the car, at the gym, on the subway, making this a great time to learn about this unique part of the voiceover world, and channel it into possible work. Narrating an entire book with detailed characters, pacing of scenes, and continuity of voice is no small task, but it is a skill that can be learned and practiced. In this one-day intensive, you will:

  • Learn from a working, award-winning narrator/director/producer who has recorded over 100 books

  • Learn the basics about pacing, sustained storytelling, narration vs. dialogue, and how to create real characters

  • Find out insider details about the audiobook industry and how to get work in it, as well as next steps!
