Description
This workshop will focus on the best practices for using technology in large lecture classes, both inside and outside the classroom. We'll introduce and describe several tools that you can use in your class to improve learning, including Audience Response Systems (ARS). Also known as a "clickers," these systems allow students to reply to classroom questions electronically and receive immediate feedback.
By the end of this workshop, you will be able to:
- Set up and use the hardware and software that enable Audience Response System;
- Select the appropriate Audience Response System for your needs;
- Understand the benefits and limitations of using Audience Response Systems.
