Unlock your full potential for solving complex problems! Road to Code is a welcoming, supportive community and study group for those learning to code. In this weekly study hall, we will pair up learners of similar skill, provide problems for you to tackle, show you problem solving best practices and followed by open time for you to ask questions or work on further study material.
You can drop in at any week, for as few or as many weeks as you would like, at the skill level that is appropriate for you. Learners are invited to make this a regular venue for receiving the supportive space, community and support they need to succeed.
We welcome participants from all communities - regardless of whether you're working towards Hack Reactor or not!

What to bring:
Students will need to bring their own laptops! Windows, Mac or Linux will do it! Our preferred web browser is Google Chrome. Also remember to bring yourself.
Prerequisites: This workshop is beginner-friendly but not for learners with zero coding skill. You should be already familiar with the following topics: Functions, Booleans, Comparisons, Conditionals, Repetition using functions, Variables, the While Loop, Arrays, Iteration through Arrays, Objects and Iteration through Objects.
If you have completed the Codecademy JS Track or Module 0 of Reactor Prep, you should be familiar with the topics above and be ready to attend this weekly series. Otherwise, no worry! Let us help you learn the basics at Road to Code Fundamentals - a free series by Hack Reactor, for new learners.
FAQ: How is Road to Code related to Hack Reactor Prep? Do I need to join Road to Code to pass the Hack Reactor technical interview?
Hack Reactor Prep is the single primary study program for those working towards our immersive. Road to Code is an optional study group centered around topics covered in Prep. It does not contain any new mandatory study material. However, it is a great way for you to meet fellow peers in-person, hold yourself accountable to a regular study schedule and have key concepts reinforced through lectures and extra assignments. If that sounds exciting to you, come join us!
