The ATTP training site will be held at the hotel below:
Chattanooga Marriott Downtown
Two Carter Plaza
Chattanooga, TN 37402
Please note that before attending the on-site training, you are required to take 3 pre-requesite e-learning courses.
If you have not received the access link via email, please send a request email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
(Plan to dedicate about 5 hours in total for completion of all three courses. The courses can be divided into 2,3 or 4 e-learning segments for your convenience.)
Trainees are responsible for their own travel, transportation, hotel arrangements, non-conference food and the registration fee. If traveling, please book your hotel and airfare before Feb. 28th. Details are below for the NPF room block rate of $129 per night in the hotel section of this post.
We expect this to be a highly informative training experience. You will have opportunities for interactive learning with other disciplines and a chance to gain practical applied knowledge both in the assessment and treatment of Parkinson's disease and in team development strategies. NPF will issue certificates of completion to practitioners and students only after completing the pre-requisite e-learning courses and the entire 3 ½ days of training.
Please plan to stay for the entire program from Wednesday morning through Saturday noon. If you miss more than 2 hours of the program, you will not receive the NPF Certificate of ATTP Training. You will only receive the CME/CEU hours for the time you attended so please plan your attendance/travel accordingly.
For practitioners who complete the training and receive an NPF certificate of completion, you will be automatically listed into NPF’s Allied Health registry. Our Helpline staff will reference this listing when patients and caregivers contact our national 800-4PD-INFO Helpline.
Attire: Please dress comfortably for the training. Some rooms may be colder than others and you may be sitting for long periods of time. Business casual and comfortable is best (slacks, nice jeans, etc). Although we try our best to keep the rooms comfortable, sometimes the A/C thermostat is very sensitive or very slow. It’s best to dress in layers to adjust for your own comfortable temperature, be it cool or warm. And please wear comfortable walking shoes.
Food Allergies: NPF will provide coffee / beverage service throughout the day and a complimentary lunch buffet Wednesday through Friday. Please notify Denise Beran at NPF if you have any special dietary needs or food allergies we should be aware of (within reason of course). All foods with nuts will have signage. There will be vegetarian meal choices available. If you require kosher food, there is no kosher kitchen so you may consider bringing your own meals. Because there is only a 45 minute window for lunch, off-site lunches will not be feasible.
Training Site Driving Directions (Marriott):
Training Site / Hotel Parking:
- On-site self-parking, fee: 3 USD hourly, 10 USD daily
- Valet parking, fee: 14 USD daily
