BREAKING NEWS - ATTLA FILM CHANGE OF VENUE LOCATION

Due to technical difficulties with a corrupted cinema file, we are forced to move and combine screenings of Attla from Regal Cinemas to Davis Concert Hall on the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus. All current ticket holders for the October 16 and 17 screenings will be honored for this ONE NIGHT ONLY World Premiere screening tonight at 7:30pm.

On a positive note, with this turn of events, we are now able to accommodate 400 more attendees on a first come, first serve basis!

So, this is an open invitation to the Fairbanks community and AFN attendees to join us tonight at UAF for an inspiring film that documents legendary dogsled champion George Attla as he trains his grandnephew to race his team one last time.

What: World Premiere of Attla documentary film
When: Wednesday, October 16th, at 7:30pm
Where: Davis Concert Hall, UAF
Cost: Free

Thank you to all those who secured tickets and we are sorry for the inconvenience. For those with Thursday tickets who are unable to join us this evening, we will host a future screening at Regal cinemas and will honor your tickets at that future date.

SOLD OUT!

THANK YOU SO MUCH FAIRBANKS! BOTH SHOWINGS ARE FULL.

About the film:

Spanning his fifty-year dogsled racing career, ATTLA explores the life and persona of GEORGE ATTLA, from his childhood as a tuberculosis survivor in the Alaskan interior, to his rise as ten-time world champion and mythical state hero, to his retirement as a village elder resolutely training his grandnephew to race his team one last time.
