Description

This Prana Enhancment Intensive will promote 'Freedom from the Pain within'.

Running from:

Friday 11th May 2018 from 6pm until 9pm (please arrive 15 mins prior)

Saturday 12th May 8:00am until 12:30pm (arrive 15 mins prior for an immediate start time)

Sunday 13th May 8:00am until 12:30pm (arrive 15 mins prior for an immediate start time)

Whether you simply want to improve your physical health & Vigour or wish to face the challenges in work or become a better parent or win a championship or overcome an addiction or depression or lose weight or become a good teacher you should learn to deal with one thing in common – “Pain”

It is the fear of pain that often makes us give up on our dreams and aspirations...It will turn us into zombies who are alive but not living.

This workshop is all about understanding the roots of pain and learning to overcome the fear and suffering that comes with it. The program addresses the physical, emotional and intellectual causes of pain and teaches you to step out of your comfort zone.

It is not merely any other Yoga workshop where you learn to bend your body into various random shapes.

We dedicate this intensive to teach you the undiluted classical Hatha yoga techniques in a futuristic manner. You will learn how to practice in a way that doesn’t damage the body. Moreover, we will teach you how not to practice- if you wish to avoid injuries. You will learn to differentiate between the good and the bad pains.

You will also learn those techniques, which can safely enhance your flexibility and deepen your practice skills. At the same time, you will also understand to heal your old injuries and fill Prana in every single cell of the body.

This is a traditional workshop of ancient Yogic techniques where one learns the deep & fine connection between mind and body in the asanas.

During the workshop, we will teach you to use every muscle in the body and understand how mindfulness can change you. You will learn to challenge your physical/ mental limitations and transcend them without injury.

Atmavikasa implies constant expansion of oneself...and freedom from the pain within.

This workshop is meant for those who wish to grow in their practice and improve their lives. All levels of practitioners/ teachers/non teachers are welcome to attend this Prana- enriching, futuristic, health- assurance Yoga Immersion

FAQs

Is there an expirence level or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Ages 16 and above. No expirence needed whether you are a expert yoga practioner or teacher , or perhaps you have never stepped onto a yoga mat. We all need to start somewhere and trust me these guys are who you want to start with.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

2 hour & 4 hour parking is available in all streets, though parking directly outside the studio is very limited. Please note that the car park next to the studio is not available for student use.

What can I bring into the event?

1. Please bring your own Yoga Mat and water bottle (1 Litre if possible)

Don't own a yoga mat, no stress, Jess the organiser will have some spares, just make sure you contact her before the event to secure your own.

2. Please bring a few banana's for a snack, don't eat banana's? Just something that is light and easy.

For the early morning sessions try not to eat just before class, if you must, try and eat something light 2 hrs before the workshop, otherwise it is common for people to become uncomfortable during class. It is always best to just have a glass of water and wait until after Asana Class to drink and eat.

3. If possible wear plain white tshirt. This way you wont be adjusting your costume or worried about bits and pieces falling out. Yoga pants (or shorts/trackpants for men) and a white tshirt is all that is needed, nothing fancy and fashinable.


What can I NOT bring into the event?

Please please please make sure mobile phones are compleltly switched off, not aeroplane mode or silent. OFF.

We understand the importance of phones, but in order to keep the space as sacred and respectful as possible please keep them switched off for the duration of the workshop, only turning them on outside the building.

What's the refund policy?

We all know stuff happens that is out of our control, you can have a full refund within 4 weeks of the program. This is to secure the numbers before teachers fly out from India.
