About this Event

Join the Atman Yoga School and friends for this one day, all access, pop-up yoga festival. Ticket purchase includes:

Class Schedule:

8.00 – 9.00: Slow Flow w/ Johanna — Start your festival day with soft movement, following your intuition. In this slow flow class you are invited to wake up your body by exploring the side body and gentle heart openers.

9.15 – 10.45: Breath to Beats w/ Jessica — Start with pranayama to open the energy channels of the body, and then move into a dynamic ladder flow vinyasa practice.

11.00 – 12.30: Shakti Mandala Flow w/Astrid + Kristine — A creative practice designed to awaken the shakti energy of the Divine Feminine. Suitable for both men and women.

12.45 – 13.15: Chanting w/Johanna — Explore the power of mantra, guided by the harmonium.

13.30 – 14.45: Arm Balances w/Krissa — Begin with a quick warm up to focus on key areas like strength building, core work and bandhas. Then explore variations of: crow pose, koundinyasana, eka pada galavasana, astavakrasana, lolasana and grasshopper.

15.00 – 16.15: Vinyasa Flow w/Emilie — Emilie will guide you through a playful and creative flow where balance and breath meets strength and focus and we move to connect deeply to our inner groove.

16.30 – 17.15: Core + Strength Flow w/Tobias — This class focuses on core strengthening asanas. It is a fluid class, where we use our breath to build up our inner agni.

17.30 – 18.15: Breathwork w/Jessica — This practice is a game changer! Dynamic breathwork practice in the lineage of David Elliot.

18.25 – 19.00: Inner Peace: A Yoga Nidra Practice w/Astrid —This is a perfect end to a whole day “being busy doing yoga” surrounded by a high vibe community. Take time to wind down in this guided meditation practice (laying down on your yoga mat).

TEACHER BIOS:

JOHANNA BAYER is a RYT 200 and YACEP certified Vinyasa Flow, Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra teacher based in Oslo, Norway. She teaches weekly yoga classes, offers workshops, private as well as corporate classes. During the last years she deepened her personal practice, took workshops with different teachers around Europe and continued her education on and off the mat. Johanna is proud to be a member of the Atman Yoga School, where she works as an apprentice teacher.

Johanna’s classes and workshops are playful and heartwarming. Her classes are designed for students of all levels, so that everybody feels welcome and free to find their own practice.

JESSICA WINDERL is a yoga teacher (ERYT 500), Ayurveda Yoga Therapist, and the Founder of the Atman Yoga School™. She also teaches and lectures at yoga festivals across the US and Europe (including the Bhakti Fest, Copenhagen Yoga Festival, Sedona Yoga Festival, Oslo Yoga Festival, and the Arctic Yoga Conference), and leads workshops and teacher trainings in Europe. Jessica is known for her creative and unique vinyasa flow sequences, and her ability to make yoga philosophy accessible and relevant to the modern yogi.

Jessica is also the host of the first yoga podcast in Norway called One Sacred Pause, which is available on iTunes, Pod Bean, and Spotify.

ASTRID SALTHAUG offers Vinyasa yoga, Restorative yoga and yoga Nidra. Astrid´s Vinyasa yoga focuses on fluid sequences, creative transitions with the goal of using the asana as a tool to bring you closer to a happier, truer and more optimal way of living. Astrid encourages you to live yoga off the mat. Yoga is a lifestyle rooted in philosophy rather than workout (but it is a very good supplement to your training if your goal is to gain more flexibility or strength too). Astrid’s classes put an emphasis on what feels good in your body – for you to listen in and be aware to take optimal choices, so the awareness you practice on your mat will help you off your mat.

Astrid has completed the 200 hour Vinyasa Teacher Training and the 340 hour Advanced Teacher Training with Atman Yoga School, as well as the Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra training. She is part of the teaching staff at Atman Yoga School.

KRISTINE IVERSEN [E-RYT200, RYT300] is a yoga teacher based in Trondheim, Norway. She teaches vinyasa classes [powerful + slow like honey], restorative yoga, yoga nidra, and is also part of Atman Yoga School’s teaching staff.

Known for her creativity and enthusiasm, Kristine’s classes are consciously sequenced with this goal in mind: to have her students connect with their body + breath, still the mind, and leave feeling empowered + strong! In Kristine’s classes you’ll find a warm community, encouragement + challenges, and the invitation to make the practice whatever you need it to be.

KRISSA LUDVIGSEN is a 500hr certified Dharma Yoga Teacher who did her training at the Dharma Yoga Center in New York. She first discovered yoga at the age of 17 when her mom (also a yoga teacher, Anusara lineage) started encouraging her to go to classes together. For the first 5 years, it was all about fun, exploration and experimentation. Krissa dipped in and out of different styles, philosophies and approaches that include: Hatha, Ashtanga, Power Yoga, Hot Yoga, Jivamukti, Iyengar, Anusara, AcroYoga and finally: Dharma Yoga. She never thought she wanted to be a yoga teacher. Yoga was always a personal practice. But when she discovered Dharma Yoga in a tiny island in the Caribbean of all places, her life was changed. After her first Dharma Yoga class, Krissa felt her heart completely melt and for the first time, yoga became more than just the physical poses. It was a way home. This was back in 2010, and in 2011 she did her first 200hr teacher training with Sri Dharna Mittra in New York. Her goal has always been to share this feeling with other people; not to teach “the hardest class”, but to make yoga feel accessible, fun, personal and transformative.

EMILIE THUN lives is Trondheim and teaches public yoga classes at Zenit Yoga in addition to corporate classes, workshops and occasional retreats.

She came to yoga through her work as a dancer, and did her Yoga Teacher Training in New York with Three Sisters Yoga and is now continuing her education with Atman Yoga Schools 340H Advanced YTT program.

She also works as a massage and myoreflex therapist at Bare Flyt floating center in Trondheim and in 2020 she started teaching her own workshop combining yoga and myofascial release techniques.

TOBIAS FJELDE had his first encounter with yoga in a Bikram class in Bergen, 2010. It was an interesting and fun experience. After that it took several years before he started to practice regularly. After a few years of practice he wanted to learn more about yoga and its benefits. Tobias graduated from the Atman Yoga School in 2019 and has been teaching yoga ever since.
