Atlona Training Day at Staub


Date: Friday, May 3, 2019

Time: 8:30am – 5:00pm

Join us for a day of training on the latest products and solutions from Atlona and how they can be used in your next projects!

The morning portion of the training will focus on Atlona products that are most applicable for your residential and light commercial business projects including HDR, Opus Series, Omega Series, the SW510W Universal Switcher with Wireless Link and the HDVS-300 Soft Codec Conferencing System. Resolution Support for Residential Applications will be covered, including the importance of designing systems that support HDR10 and DolbyVision and the products/solutions that support this. For light commercial applications, you’ll learn how to win more meeting room business using Atlona Solutions. Plus, specifying for Soft-Codec conferencing, Wireless BYOD, USB-C connectivity and easy meeting room automation.

The afternoon portion of the day will cover OmniStream R-Type and Velocity - why AV over IP is important and why is OmniStream a great AV over IP solution. In addition, Velocity control for light commercial applications will be covered as well as how to design and deploy a cost-effective commercial control solution for meeting rooms.

The Presenter

Mark Ramos is the Product and Field Training Manager for Atlona. Prior to becoming Product and Field Training Manager at Atlona, Mark led Atlona’s Technical Support/RMA team as Customer Support Manager and helped build up to the next level a unified world class Support/RMA staff that serves domestic and international customer base. Mark has been in the AV industry for over 11 years, and prior to joining Atlona worked for local AV integrator Avidex as on Onsite engineer at software company NetApp supporting 350+ conference rooms across 14 buildings for preventive/corrective maintenance as well as part of thier Media team supporting global audience for Executive recordings/VODs/Live streaming events and video conference
