An inspiring epic story of Ireland's oldest dance form is portrayed through music, song, and dance. Centered around the joyful dance and unbridled enthusiasm of the Cunningham family - the show moves audiences to their feet, bringing sean-nós dance to its rightful place on the world stage.
Did you know sean-nós refers to "old style" Irish song and dance? Now you can experience this "old style' dance firsthand when you attend the Atlantic Steps performance at CAC on January 30th.
In 2009, the star of Atlantic Steps danced the night away at Galway's docklands within striking distance of the Atlantic Ocean. He decided to tour this sean-nós dance that he learned from his grandparents as a tradition from the days of house dances.
Season Ticket holders are admitted at 6 p.m., General Admission ticket holders are admittied at 6:20 p.m. Box office opens at 6 p.m.
