Join us for a fun and interesting walk on Atlanta's Freedom Trail
About this Event

This tour will cover four stops on the Atlanta Freedom Trail*
- Martin Luther King, Jr National Historical Park
- Historic Sweet Auburn District
- Liberty Plaza (including the Veteran's Memorial)
- Georgia State Capitol

Some things to know...

- The tour begins at MLK Natl Historical Park Visitor's Center and ends at the Georiga State Capitol
- The starting point is within walking distance of the King Memorial MARTA station and the ending point is within walking distance of the Georgia State MARTA station
- We will be touring the grounds of these facilities, which is fine because there are A LOT of really interesting things to see and learn on the outside!
- Bring an iPad or tablet if you have one

- We will also be making a few "pit stops" along the way at some secret locations
- To participate in this tour, you MUST wear a mask at all times. If you are not willing to do this please do not register. If you remove your mask during the tour, you will be asked to leave the tour. Sorry for the hard line but this is necessary due to the ongoing pandemic.
- The minimum age to participate in this tour is 21
- Pets are strongly DISCOURAGED. The areas (surfaces) are not conducive to pets and we will be going inside some buildings where pets are not allowed.
- As always, please wear sturdy walking shoes and bring water, a hat, sunscreen, etc.
