ABOUT THE FESTIVAL:

Recently named "Best Fall Festivals" by AJC, the Atlanta Black Theatre Festival (ABTF) is popularly known as the festival of "40 plays* in 4 days". But that's hardly enough time to preserve and share the fantastic stories of the African diaspora. Comprised of a diverse line-up of artists drawn from around the corner to around the globe, this annual event pays tribute to the most colorful tales of triumph and tragedy often with "laugh out loud" humor and salient humanity.

In just six short years the ABTF, has presented over 200 live events while providing opportunities for over 1,500 of the most prolific literary, visual and performing artists of our time.

Whether you're a fan of Tyler Perry, August Wilson or just a lover of world class black art, the amazing live performances, an international vendor and artist market and the authentic celebration of community will make this popular fall festival one of your favorite things to do in Atlanta!

So don't just pick a play, pick a DAY (or all 4) and immerse yourself in a marathon of bold, exciting theatre in Atlanta. Get your "flash and go" access passes today and ENJOY!

The Festival runs from October 3-6. 2018. The schedule goes live June 15, 2018. Individual tickets will be available at that time. Prices range from $7 -$40 for Special Events and full-length performances. Visit AtlantaBTF.org for details.

Note: "40 plays" includes special events.
