Celebrating Women Cancer Survivors!

Community of Excellence Award 2019

Deniece Pittman Book Scholarship 2019

Join us at our 2nd Annual Women's Empowerment Fundraising Luncheon and Fashion Show event celebrating Women Cancer Survivors in our Community! Partnering with us again this year as Mistress of Ceremony is ABC6 and Fox 28 News Anchor, Maria Durant. The event theme is Survive. Live. Thrive. This celebration includes a fashion show featuring our returning local fashion designers: Jeran Daren - Top Element Vest Apparel, Felicia Williams - Studio V Fashion and Image Consulting - Charlesie Love of Charlesie's Apparel and Accessories, Voszi Douglas of Voszi Designs and joining us for the first time - Mary Filice - The Doctor's Tees - we are excited to see the new collections showcased by this year's Honorees! Attendees are sure to be inspired by the Honoree's survival stories and testimonies. Enjoy a day of inspiration and motivation. This year's Program Speaker is Jowanda Thomas, Founder of Awakening Outreach, formerly known as Purple and Pink. Jowanda is a Cancer and Domestic Violence Survivor! The 2018 Award Recipient, First Lady Glenneth Tillman, Director of Life and Family Services at New Covenant Believers' Church will present the 2019 Women of Excellence Award.

The Deniece PIttman Scholarship will be awarded to a graduating high school student that will be attending college Fall 2019 during the luncheon.

Enjoy a power-packed day of networking, dining and vendors as we discuss cancer prevention and celebrate the contributions and achievements of women and girls in our community!

At The Table's Community Excellence Award recognizes the work and accomplishments of a woman for outstanding leadership and service in her field, to women, girls, and families reflecting inspiring and positive changes in their lives and her community.
