This FREE beginning watercolor workshop is open to veterans, their families and the community and part of a series conducted by veterans made possible by a Veterans Initiative in the Arts Grant of the California Arts Council and in partnership with Farmer Veteran Coalition and Yolo County Veterans Services.
Participants will become familiar with the brushes and paint; learn about the elements of design and basic blending and shading techniques - all in a supportive and non-judgmental environment.
All watercolor supplies (paint, brushes and paper) included. Participants may display a watercolor painting they created in the workshop at the At Ease on the Farm reception immediately following the workshop.
