Description

This free full-day workshop is intended for Oklahoma public school administrators, special educators and related service providers who help students with disabilities. Participants will learn the steps involved in conducting an Assistive Technology (AT) Assessment, and the procedure for borrowing AT to trial with students. Educators will try their hand at making low-tech AT to help students with classroom tasks. Pre-requisite: AT Assessment Part 1- Consideration.

Learning Outcomes

  1. Explain the steps to conduct an AT Assessment.
  2. Describe how to borrow AT for a trial.
  3. Apply the steps of an AT assessment with a student.
