A comprehensive program designed to give lawyers the knowledge and confidence to handle asylum cases before the US Department of Homeland Security and the US Immigration Courts. Nationally recognized experts provide an in-depth review of the US asylum laws and procedures allowing attorneys to feel confident in their representation of some of the most vulnerable clients they may ever represent. Making this training unique from any other of its type, it includes a portion of the program lead by Center of Excellence (COE ) Tactical Team partners from CGRS, CLINIC, and Innovation Law Lab. This training will focus on interviewing skills, case law, and building the legal theory of a case to win every meritorious case using the collaborative COE model as the final piece of a 2 day intensive program.
