Event description

Description

Join us at the Blake Planetarium for a night of "Astronomy 101" with a feature presentation of Two Small Pieces of Glass - The Amazing Telescope. In addition, a brief showing of Seasonal Stargazing will highlight the most prominent and easy-to-find stars and constellations of the Spring season.

About Two Small Pieces of Glass - The Amazing Telescope (runtime 25 minutes)

While attending a local star party, two teenage students learn how the telescope has helped us understand our place in the universe and how telescopes continue to expand our understanding of outer space. Their conversation with a local astronomer enlightens them on the history of the telescope.
