The Amateur Astronomers Association of Guyana is partnering with the International Astronomical Union to host an activity in Guyana to commemorate humankind's first landing on the Moon.

There is an 'open to the public' documentary viewing of the recent film 'Apollo 11' which contains actual remastered footage of this extraordinary accomplishment, from preparation to liftoff, and landing on the Moon to the journey returning to the Earth. See trailer.
