aSTEAM Village invites you to join us to celebrate Black History Month on Sunday, February 21st at 3:00 PM Central Time for the Black Heritage Awareness Celebration II featuring Dr. Carl B. Mack.
If you joined us for Black Heritage Awareness Celebration I held on the 155th Anniversary of the Ratification of the 13th Amendment, we know you will not want to miss this event!
Black Heritage Awareness Celebration II:
- Master of Ceremony: Brig. Gen. Arnold Gordon-Bray
- Musical Guests: Kansas City’s own Randall Fears and Angela Wildflower
- Special Guests: National Society of Black Engineers Co-Founder George Smith and Commander Carlton Philpot- “The Legacy of Black Women in the Military”
- Keynote Speaker: Dr. Carl B. Mack- “Black Heritage Journey”
LIVE Q&A following event: Dr. Carl B. Mack, George Smith, CDR Carlton Philpot and Brig. Gen. (ret.) Arnold Gordon-Bray.
This event is also a fundraiser and all proceeds go to the students and programs of aSTEAM Village.
