Assistive Technology Consideration & Evaluations: IDEA states that all students with an IEP must be considered for assistive technology, which should include not only the technology itself, but also the services and supports needed for successful implementation. This workshop will provide an overview of practical ways for parents to initiate the process of matching children with disabilities to assistive technology. The process of assistive technology evaluations will also be addressed.
